About Magnolia

At Magnolia, we bring a different experience to your mat. We support a lifestyle that empowers you to seek out beauty in your life every single damn day.  It's about finding a fluid life both on and off the mat. Our methods intelligently merge mind-body medicine and exercise science with the wisdom of yoga philosophy as it applies to modern life.  We utilize a combination of barre and yoga philosophies as a base to create inspiration in classes, workshops, structural therapy and teacher trainings. And trust us... it's amazing.

Happy Clients Say:

Magnolia is transforming my body, building inner and outer strength. Consistently attending classes has been a key part in my weight loss and has given me capacity to do things I haven’t done in years, like ride a bike, climb a mountain or jump on a trampoline.
— Fae
I spend most of my weekends in Boston and have tried classes at multiple studios and have never found the attention to students, corrections & modifications that all of the Magnolia teachers bring. I have also never felt as welcomed... I have loved every single class and teacher here, and have learned a lot about myself on the way- I have literally learned to breathe... I’ve learned to love my body, not by the pounds on the scale, but for the transformation and strength that I feel.

Here's the deal...

The Studio: We are located at 332 Forest Ave - in the old Pier 1 building across the street from USM's Glickman Library. We have a bright, open space with one room used for yoga and kids/family classes and a larger room for barre classes. We have plenty of windows and natural light - perfect for getting your wellness on.

New Students: New here? We'll take care of you. Your first class is only $5! And your to celebrate your first time at the studio, we will lend you barre socks and a mat - just bring yourself (and water!).We also have some killer new student offers. Check them out on our rates page.

Parking: We have plenty of parking - but getting to our lot can be tricky the first time. Your best bet is to enter on Forest Ave right before the Oakhurst Dairy parking lot. We are around back.

Showers: Unfortunately, we don't have showers on-site. However, we have a spacious changing room with private curtains for your convenience.

Barre socks are required for all classes, but don't worry - we will let you borrow some clean socks for your first class. We also sell them at the studio for $12 per pair. Why barre socks? Hygiene aside (though, important!), barre socks are a traditional part of the Magnolia barre practice - acting as ballet slippers, they allow us to transform into the beautiful barre beings we all have inside of us.

Injuries? Please let us know! Your instructor will gladly provide adjustments and modifications. Our classes are accessible to all - so come as you are!
